Born on 11th March 1972 to the famous Abidikugu and Alawuje families of Ibadanland, Dr. Adesina Kazeem Abidikugu is a distinguished trailblazer whose life is defined by academic excellence and selfless service. He demonstrated brilliance early, completing his WAEC with distinctions at age 15 from Ibadan Grammar School.
After completing his medical training at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, he served with distinction as the Medical Coordinator during his NYSC at FMC Yola. His career in Nigeria saw him rise to Senior Medical Officer with the FCDA Abuja before moving to the United Kingdom to further his specialisation.
Today, he is a highly respected Consultant Psychiatrist and a full member of the General Medical Council (UK). He has served as a lead clinician for the NHS, specialising in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAMHS) and Neurodevelopmental disorders. His clinical acumen is matched by his academic pursuit, currently rounding up a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychiatry at the University of Birmingham.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Abidikugu is a strategic investor with 20+ years of boardroom experience. As the visionary behind the DAKA Foundation, he has transformed thousands of lives through education bursaries, free medical surgeries, and poverty alleviation projects. In recognition of his service, he was royally conferred the title of Agba-akin Bobajiro of Ibadanland.
